How does the free trial work?
New subscribers get their first 7 days of Insights free. You subscribe with a card through Stripe's hosted checkout, but nothing is charged until the trial ends — cancel any time before then from the billing portal on your account page and you pay nothing. We'll remind you by email before the trial ends. One trial per account.
What exactly is in the dataset?
One flat row per runner per race with 180 computed features — form, ratings history, jockey and trainer strike rates across multiple time windows, breeding signals, course and draw bias, and change-vs-last-run deltas. The full data dictionary is on the API page.
Do you provide predictions or tips?
No. Veredus produces data and computed analytics only. Subscribers use the dataset as input to their own models, research and judgement.
How far back does the data go, and how fresh is it?
The historical corpus covers 530,000+ UK, Irish and international races back to 1988 and grows every day. Analytics are recomputed daily: final figures after each race day, provisional figures ahead of upcoming racing.
When does API access open?
We're rebuilding the API's data foundations for full source independence before opening it to subscribers, and we're not promising dates. Register interest from your account page and you'll be first to hear when early access opens.
What does 'point-in-time correct' mean?
Every feature for a race is computed only from information available strictly before that race's off-time. Nothing from the race itself or afterwards leaks in, which is what makes the history safe to train and backtest on.
How do I subscribe, and can I cancel any time?
Create a free account, then subscribe from your account page — payment is by card through Stripe's hosted checkout, with the first 7 days of Insights free for new subscribers. Subscriptions are monthly with no minimum term; manage or cancel from the billing portal on your account page.
